the antlers first got on my radar when i am fuel, you are friends posted their great cover of nothing matters when we’re dancing by the magnetic fields back in november.
but now the brooklyn band is hitting the road, promoting Hospice which they are releasing on March 3rd. their lyrics are slightly dark the way i like and the semi-shoegazy indie sound is really money. i really like the way their song Bear’s sound starts off small, builds for the chorus but comes back down for the second verse – and then comes back with the full band for the climax. peter, from the band has graciously allowed me to share the song here on the blog – so definitely check it out below.
