You have an amazing opportunity this Saturday to not only see an amazing band but also do a little good at the same time. Sick Feed, yes – the killer cover band that rocked Jenna Bush’s (now Jenna Henry) DC wedding party after-party at the Rookery, is playing at the same venue for the benefit of two veterans groups.
“Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) is the nation’s first and largest group dedicated to the Troops and Veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the civilian supporters of those Troops and Veterans” and One for the Troops is also a veterans charity group that helps them to raise money.
The cover is only $10 – so its definitely worth every penny for what is sure to be a crazy good time.
